David makes us some awesome cocktails

One of the world's leading mixologists, David Cordoba, came to Manila for a few days to share his knowledge and love for cocktails, especially his famous Bacardi Daquiri, and Bubbles and I had the chance to meet him over dinner. In between friendly chatter and sumptuous Spanish food at El Cirkulo, we were entertained by David and Bacardi Ambassadorial program member Arijit Bose.
Before dinner, a casual tete-a-tete was made special by 4 Bacardi cocktails: Bacardi Daiquiri, Bacardi Mojito, Bacardi Pina Colada and Bacardi Cuba Libre. In a country where we are known to bastardize rum by simply mixing it with sweet soda, David showed us the true art of proper rum combination. All of which was completely new to me.
It was great to experience a lovely dinner amongst new faces especially when you are in this sort of company. Aside from the great food and awesome drinks, the people really made the night thoroughly entertaining and quite insightful.
