Some Prep in My Step

What do you guys wear to school? To be honest, I wish I made a bit more of an effort dressing up back in my college days (just cause). Back in high school, we always wore uniforms which made my life easier in the mornings but in college, I think I wore more sweatpants and hoodies than I'd like to admit. So now that I am somewhat getting a second chance (with taking my MBA) I think I'd like to look a little bit more presentable when I go to class.

Now that I don't have to worry about getting to class (see blow), I can give a little bit more thought to looking presentable in the classroom. There's a little bit more pressure now since all my classmates are now working professionals and usually come to class after a long day of work in their suits and tailored skirts. And being the youngest in our year, I feel like I need to make a little bit more of an effort to look presentable when we have group discussions or impromptu presentations. I highly doubt anyone would pay attention to what I have to say if I came in in sweats.

I'll be honest though. I still keep a thick hoodie in my bag for when the classroom actually turns into an igloo. I can't stand the cold and unlike other girls, I have no plans of suffering through class just to look cute! I still have to focus, you know. (haha)
