What Will Your Story Be?

A few weeks back, Cream Silk held a viewing for their short film called 'Porttraits' starring four Filipinas and their stories. The night was so empowering to be a part of 'cause we were all surrounded by World Class Filipinas who inspire me to continue to pursue my dreams as they have done for themselves.

We even heard from Lisa Macuja-Elizalde about her struggles as a young ballerina and even through all her trials, it was her hard work and determination that made her the best in her field and earning her world-wide recognition.
It was such a beautiful evening to be reminded of our capabilities when we start to believe in ourselves. Just like Anne, Heart, Toni, and Lea we all have had dreams that seem impossible but these women are living proof that they are.
The highlight of my night, though, was finally being able to see one of my idols perform live. Lea Salonga.
There are no words. She truly is a #WorldClassFilipina.
Watch her share her story below, along with three other #WorldClassFilipinas. And, hopefully, this short film will inspire you at it has me.
I must say, it's moments like this that make me proud to be a Filipina and to be an ambassador for a brand that uplifts women and believes in our capabilities. Creamsilk has always been so supportive of me when I have projects I want to pursue and that's so reassuring when you feel like you have to do everything yourself. I wish we have more companies like this in the Philippines so that more and more women can feel empowered to pursue their dreams and even be World Class.
Congratulations, Cream Silk. Another inspiring evening that was Beyond Beautiful.
