The Philippines is full of hidden gems in every island and it seems like I stumbled upon one in Puerto Princesa, Palawan - namely, Sheridan resort. About an hour away from the city, this little hiding spot is perfectly situated by the beach and provides the perfect ambiance to escape and relax. And that's exactly what I did.
Sheridan is literally the perfect place for anyone 'cause they've got something for everyone - families, couples, friends, and even company group outings. I was so happy to be able to spend a weekend here 'cause I was able to experience some once in a lifetime things, see a natural world wonder, and be as adventurous as I wanted. I think one of the best parts of this resort is it's location. They are only 15 minutes away from the underground river (a natural world heritage site) which is totally worth the trip on its own.
You walk through the forest then you get to this beautiful opening that leads you into the entrance of the cave.
The water was absolutely beautiful and I'm telling you - it's one of those natural wonders you have to go see for yourself.
It's amazing how beautiful nature is when we make a conscious effort to take care of it.
It's pretty dark in the cave so this was the only light we could see at the end of the 'tunnel'.
Seriously, just looking at all my photos makes me miss it all so much and want to go back asap.
