Last week I lost my voice to some weird bug that was going around and I'm only starting to shake it now but my Darth 'Vader-esque' register did not stop me from plopping out of bed and trekking to The Henry Hotel, Manila to see Pandora's newest Spring 2015 collection while getting pampered with my girls.

On the invite, we were told to come in our spring-inspired outfits and for most of us, that meant light colours, flowy skirts, and lots of floral.

I've had this skirt for a while now but as I couldn't quite find the perfect occasion to wear it until this event.

Okay. That's not quite true. I did wear it once on Valentines day to spend the afternoon down South but no one saw me! So it doesn't count. haha!

I have also been a little obsessed with this three-tiered necklace from Pretty Little Blings that comes in a bunch of designs. As the true hoarder that I am, I got three sets in one go.

The skirt was also 'poofy' enough so a more form-fitting top seemed appropriate. Again, I have the top in four other colours. I might have a problem...

This is actually my first time to attend an event by Pandora so I was curious to see what the hype was all about.

That's when I understood. The charms in their collection make for a lovely way to customise your own jewelry that tells a story. There is literally a charm for every occasion, hobby, or animal.

While we were talking over tea, one lady said it best: "bags and fashion come and go, but jewelry stays with us from generation to generation." and she was right.

I still have some of the pieces I got from my mom and grandmother and somehow, they mean so much more.
