Ask any Filipino about Siquijor and you'll probably hear a lot of stories about witchcraft and folklore - not really the first thing you wanna hear about a place you're set to go visit. I had imagined a dark, forsaken forest much like the places you read about in children's story books but to my surprise, this lush and beautiful resort proved to be quite the opposite. There's just so much more I wish I could have documented from this stay like all the water sports they had, the food they served (The Halo-Halo was my favourite), and Macky the dancing parrot! haha! You kind-of have to get him in the mood but once he starts grooving, it's the cutest thing.
