Confession: No matter how much I try to pack light, I still end up bringing my entire closet with me whenever I travel. I’m slowly learning some tricks here and there from all the travelling I’ve been doing lately and one great way to pack light, I learned, is to bring multi-functional items which drastically reduces the amount of stuff you have to lug along with you. One company I discovered was called Yay convertible clothing and they make multi-functional dresses that can be worn in many different ways so you can wear a whole bunch of dresses but only have to pack one.
Here, I wore it as a halter dress and a long scarf but there are so many other ways to wear them. Just look here. If you’re even worried about losing instructions of how to transform the dress, it comes with a snap-on tag so you can hang it on your hanger and never have to worry about losing it. Come to think of it, this would even be a great thing to have in your car or bring to work as you can easily change your outfit from day to night! Quite clever.
